A Sinner’s Friend

This image was created by an Incarcerated Individual who has chosen to remain anonymous.  What we know is that the image came forth at a time when this person was experiencing tremendous turmoil.  This individual felt as though the burden they were carrying was too great to bear, and that the only solution to the anguish was to lie down.  Searching for some relief through drawing, this person sat with tools in hand but was unable to find any inspiration.  Frustration soon turned to despair before the tears finally began to flow.  With a battered heart, this person mustered the strength to utter aloud: "God, I know I don't deserve to ask You for anything.  My reality is a product of my choices.  But if You still care to hear me, could You please allow me some peace for right now."

Immediately after pleading with God, a calm that can only be described as “newness” came over this individual, and all of the pain suddenly appeared to go away.  No longer feeling the need to draw, this individual prepared to get up before realizing the image you see above was on the paper before them.  Unaware of producing the image, this person became washed over with immense feelings of being loved and cared for, and it was at this moment, they knew.

The conveyor of this image offers this message to you: "No matter your fear, no matter your pain, no matter your struggle...no matter your past; no matter your present.  You are purposeful.  You are endowed.  What you cannot, He can.  With a sincere heart, all you have to do is ask."

Love and Grace are unrelenting.  It is unrestricted; it is limitless; it is available to us all.   Give love...be loved.
